We're partnering with an early-stage, venture-backed AI fintech startup that's transforming the tax preparation experience through AI-powered automation and human expertise.
They're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and scale customer-facing products, with significant ownership across the full stack.
What You Will Do
Design, build, and ship end-to-end features using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
Develop scalable backend services, data pipelines, and event-driven systems.
Integrate AI agents and automated workflows into customer-facing applications.
Build secure systems handling sensitive financial data.
Collaborate with AI engineers to deliver reliable, intuitive product experiences.
Requirements
5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong full-stack skills with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
Experience building and launching products in startup environments.
Strong backend architecture and data modeling experience.
Familiarity with Python, Next.js, or Kafka is a plus.
Comfortable using AI coding tools and working in fast-paced, high-ownership environments.
$185K–$225K base salary
